The Islam Lab is an interdisciplinary research group at the intersection of artificial intelligence, statistics, and cancer research. Our goal is to develop advanced computational tools that support cancer detection, diagnostic refinement, and therapeutic decision-making.

Our current research focuses on: 

• Developing deep learning models for high-dimensional omics data analysis

• Interpreting and visualizing complex feature representations learned by neural networks

• Integrating multi-modal datasets to uncover new biological insights and improve clinical decision-making
