Interventional Radiology Residency Program
Overview
The Stanford Integrated IR/DR Residency is an ACGME accredited advanced program that links a 1-year surgical internship with 3 years of Diagnostic Radiology and 2 years of Interventional Radiology training. The Stanford surgical internship is linked to the main IR/DR program via the NRMP through a supplemental Rank Order List and no separate interview is required. After completing residency, graduates will qualify to obtain a dual IR-DR certificate from the American Board of Radiology.
We offer a robust educational curriculum spanning the full spectrum of image-guided interventions and beyond, including cutting-edge protocols and treatments pioneered by Stanford Interventional Radiology. Our faculty is comprised of experts in the field dedicated to training the next generation of compassionate physicians, innovators and leaders in our specialty.
