The Stanford Division of Immunology and Rheumatology has specialized clinics in rheumatology-dermatology, immuno-oncology, vasculitis, systemic lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, ultrasound, and sarcoidosis.

The Division of Immunology and Rheumatology functions in a Stanford Medicine ecosystem comprising the School of Medicine, the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, and Stanford Health Care - Tri-Valley. Together these locations provide an unprecedented level of clinical care for our patients and an exceptional educational experience for our trainees.
Stanford Health Care
Stanford Health Care serves local and regional populations, and receives referrals nationally and internationally. Patients with complex diseases that present major diagnostic and therapeutic challenges are often seen here. A beautiful new hospital campus offers patients state-of-the-art facilities. Stanford Medicine physicians are pioneering leading edge therapies that are advancing the way health care is delivered.
VA Palo Alto Health Care System
The VA Palo Alto campus, located four miles from the Stanford University Hospital, is a 900-bed, multi-campus integrated facility of hospitals and clinics, and a tertiary referral center. It is also one of the largest VA centers in the country and has Centers of Excellence in six programs. The VA Palo Alto’s Rheumatology Clinic and Consult Services are separate from but integrated within our Division’s clinical, teaching and research programs.
Santa Clara Valley Medical Center (SCVMC)
Located in San Jose, Santa Clara County Medical Center is the main county hospital for Santa Clara County. SCVMC has 730 beds and hosts the Level 1 trauma center for Santa Clara County. SCVMC has an active rheumatology clinic and consult service.
Stanford Health Care - Tri-Valley
Located in Pleasanton, Stanford Health Care - Tri-Valley, provides the Tri-Valley and East Bay region with exceptional patient-centered community medicine.
