First Year Rheumatology Fellows

Research Interests: Improving patient outcomes and studying the impact of environmental factors on rheumatic diseases
Personal Interests: Running, yoga/pilates, hiking, skiing, scuba diving, and spending time with my family and friends (especially outdoors)
Matthew Means, MD

Research Interests: TBD given I have curiosity into many rheumatic processes; I have completed work on APLS and IgG4-RD

Brian Lee, MD

Research Interests: Clinical and epidemiologic research, systemic sclerosis and dermatomyositis, ultrasound, and medical education
Personal Interests: Nature trails, hiking, gym, sports enthusiast (baseball, basketball, football, and soccer), and rooting for Bay Area teams: the Giants, Warriors, 49ers, Cal, and Stanford (as an alum of both, I cheer for whoever has the better record in the Big Game)!

Personal Interests: I enjoy spending time with my Shih Tzus, watching English Premier League football (go Arsenal) , cooking with herbs from my garden, traveling, spinning and all things brunch
