First Year Rheumatology Fellows

Neeharika Namineni, MD

Hometown: Los Altos, California
Medical School: UC San Diego School of Medicine
Residency: Yale Traditional Internal Medicine Residency
Research Interests: Caring for our veteran population; the impact of the environment and food on autoimmunity; medical education
Personal Interests: Yoga (to practice and teach!), reading the latest fiction novel, hiking around the Bay Area, spending time with my family, friends, and fiancé Chaitanya

Michelle Benjamin MD

Hometown: St. John’s, Antigua (West Indies)

Residency: Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, Louisiana State University 
Research Interests: Transition of Care, Reproductive Health and Family Planning in Autoimmune Disease, Lupus and Integrative Medicine, Global Health and practice of Rheumatology in low resource settings, Health Equity, Climate Change and its impact on autoimmune disease
Personal Interests: I enjoy spending time with my Shih Tzus, watching English Premier League football (go Arsenal) , cooking with herbs from my garden, traveling, spinning and all things brunch

Lily Sung, MD

Research Interests: health equity, disparities in care/outcomes among vulnerable populations,  climate change and autoimmunity,  epidemiology
Personal Interests: Exploring new cultures and cuisines, scenic hikes,  swimming, playing tennis, wheel throwing

 

Second Year Rheumatology Fellows

Srijana Davuluri, MD

Hometown: Visakhapatnam, India
Medical School: Siddhartha Medical College
Residency: Internal Medicine - Bronx Care Hospital Center
Research Interests: Big data leveraged observational studies, translational studies involving interdisciplinary approach, augmentation of holistic healthcare delivery with technology
Personal Interests: I love spending time with my family, watching romantic comedies and captivating Netflix series. I also love reading books filled with inspiration.

Shrey Gole, MD

Hometown: Ujjain, India
Medical School: All India Institute of Medical Sciences
Residency: Northwestern Medicine McHenry Hospital/RFUMS
Research Interests: General rheumatology, drug development
Personal Interests: I enjoy spending my time outdoors, especially traveling and hiking for spectacular views and experiences. Apart from my love for tropical drinks and gourmet food, I also take pleasure in playing basketball, swimming, and mixing popular electronic music.

Akhil Sood, MD

Research Interests: Epidemiology & outcomes research, clinical informatics, infection & autoimmunity
Personal Interests: I enjoy spending time outdoors including running, hiking, and cycling. I am also a huge fan of trivia.

Amanda Moyer, MD

Hometown: Fargo, Oklahoma
Medical School: University of Oklahoma College of Medicine
Residency: Internal Medicine - Pediatric at the Oklahoma Health Science Center
Research Interests: Lupus, pediatric onset SLE, antiphospholipid syndrome, transition care, adolescent and young adult rheumatology care
Personal Interests: I love spending time with my friends, family, and fur baby Pepper. I like good food and drink (red wine and bourbon) and spending time outdoors hiking.
