Admissions 2022

The Immunology Program welcomed applicants with a variety of scientific backgrounds and a diversity of experience. We had a virtual admissions on February 15-17 with 31 applicants and an in-person visit day with 13 admitted applicants on March 16-19 during Stanford Biosciences Admissions weeks. Activities for the virtual admissions included interviews, faculty and student talks, trivia night, virtual hangouts, student panel, social life presentation, and visibility and representation gathering.

Sheri Krams, Senior Associate Dean, Graduate Education and Postdoctoral Affairs welcomed admitted and waitlisted applicants to Biosciences Admit Day at the welcome breakfast, followed by a few student speakers sharing why they chose Stanford for their graduate studies. Stanford Immunology program staff, faculty, and graduate students welcomed admitted applicants with a coffee social, lunch, lab tours, and dinner. Stanford Biosciences arranged for social hours and Friday night hangout.
