To oversee of all aspects of Stanford Immunology, including deciding major policy, programs and activites, faculty membership, funds oversight, and/or development.
To ensure that the governance of Stanford Immunology is consistent with the Charter and should amend the Charter as appropriate.
To oversee all aspects of the training, evaluation of student progress towards the degree, admissions, recruitment, orientation, funding, and approval for graduation of all graduate students in the Ph.D. Program in Immunology.
Has primary responsibility for all aspects of the Molecular, Cellular, and Translational Immunology (MCTI) and Computational and Systems Immunology (CSI) tracks of the Immunology program.

To be responsible for the weekly Immunology Seminar Series, including the selection of a graduate student and a postdoc to assist in soliciting suggestions for the next year’s speakers and in planning the seminar schedule for that year.
To advise the Executive Committee on the development and implementation of programs and policies to enhance community development and to achieve success for all trainees and faculty in the Immunology Program.
