Research & Scholarly activity
The Musculoskeletal Infectious Diseases group is dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of bone and joint infections. Our team collaborates extensively with other leading institutes in the field and within the Stanford Orthopaedic Surgery Division. The broad representation of varied surgical subspecialties at Stanford provides ample opportunities for trainees and faculty to lead, participate in, and collaborate on research both within and outside of Stanford. Our research initiatives encompass bench research, clinical research, and quality improvement, fostering an environment of mentorship where trainees can develop as clinical investigators. Together, we strive to develop groundbreaking treatments and preventive strategies, enhancing patient outcomes and advancing the field of musculoskeletal infectious diseases.
