Educational Activities
Immunocompromised Host Infectious Disease Fellowship
The ICH-ID fellowship was started in 2013 and has been a highly successful program since its inception. The fellowship consists of one year of robust comprehensive clinical training focusing on care of the immunocompromised host, with further opportunities to do additional research for highly motivated fellows who would like to stay in the program for a longer duration. Two fellows are accepted per year and matriculate after completion of their general ID fellowship. After completion, fellows have successfully launched into the ICH-ID field, many in academic positions.
Scholarly pursuits
The ICH-ID faculty have contributed to a variety of educational scholarly work that has been valuable to the field of Immunocompromised host infectious disease, including American Society of Transplant Infectious Disease Community of Practice guidelines, National Cancer Care Network guidelines, IDSA practice guidelines, and Uptodate articles to name a few.
