A forum to discuss difficult cases on the Transplant ID services, review and update transplant protocols, and discuss recent research updates.  Transplant ID fellows and fellows on the Transplant ID services or anyone else who has an interest in immunocompromised host (ICH)-ID are welcome to attend.

Didactic series covering all the core topics in Infectious diseases taught by Stanford faculty.

An educationally focused review of active clinical cases designed to support fellow-level learning and to facilitate patient care.

Optional office hours with our coccidioides experts to help with management of difficult cases.

Case based didactic led by microbiology team highlighting important microbiology concepts.

Presentations by Stanford and invited faculty highlighting cutting edge research and clinical care.

Journal Club provides an open forum for fellows to critically evaluate peer-reviewed literature in infectious diseases while leading discussions on foundational, emerging, and clinically relevant topics. Sessions are held after hours at an attending’s home or on campus and provide an opportunity to foster mentorship, collegial connection between fellows and faculty, broaden exposure to evolving or underrepresented areas in training, and support the application of evidence-based care in clinical practice.

Careers Crossroads is a longitudinal program designed to support fellows in navigating the transition from training to independent practice, with a focus on exploring diverse career pathways. Through structured discussions, faculty mentorship, and targeted sessions on real-world challenges, the course helps fellows build clarity, confidence, and preparedness for both clinical and non-clinical aspects of early career life.

A day for fellows to come together, usually in May, to reflect on the fellowship experience.
