Transforming Self and Systems through Praxis Program
In 2021, SoM Staff JEDI Director Shaila Kotadia created and led the HRG/C community through a monthly workshop series to educate and support individuals' growth and learning in the JEDI space. It was called the HRG/C JEDI Journey.
The new program is an evolution of the JEDI Journey as it seeks to design a more cohesive and thorough approach to exploring JEDI topics.
The overall goals of the program are:
1) To cultivate critical reflection of self and one’s lived experiences
2) To explore and deepen understanding of structural and systematic systems of power and oppression
3) To empower HRG and HR Cluster (HRG/C) staff to take action in their personal and professional lives; and,
4) To foster and extend an inclusive culture for building community and cultivating relationships across the landscape
We encourage individuals who would like deeper action and reflection on JEDI principles to apply to the program. When signing up for this program, you are committing to all sessions.
