Matthew Schwede, MD (H/O)
Completed an undergraduate degree in statistics at Harvard before attending Brown for medical school and completing residency training at UCSF. With his background in statistics and a focus on genomics, he has been involved in both basic science and clinical research related to several topics, including breast and ovarian cancer, neurodevelopmental disorders, and critical care. In fellowship, Matt hopes to continue working as a translational researcher, with the goal of personalizing therapy for cancer patients using information from large datasets. Matt is also a cellist and a former singer, and he maintains an active music life, performing in multiple concerts each year.
