Danielle F. Atibalentja

 

 

Received her medical degree from UCSF and completed her internal medicine residency at Washington University in St Louis/ Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Prior to medical school, she obtained her PhD in immunology from Washington University in St Louis where she investigated the role of peptide-MHC density in the development of thymic tolerance. She is interested in hematologic malignancies and bone marrow transplant. During fellowship, she hopesto apply her training in immunology to understanding the natural immune response to cancer with a focus toward developing novel immune-based therapies that can be translated into early phase clinical trials and beyond. Additionally, she is interested in improving health access to increase participation in clinical trials by historically disadvantaged populations.
