Caroline Lee, MD
I was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up in many different places including Vancouver, Canada and the San Francisco Bay Area. I completed my undergraduate degree in Integrative Biology at University of California, Berkeley. I attended Eastern Virginia Medical School for Medical School, followed by residency training at University of South Florida. I was nominated for Alpha Omega Alpha during residency and stayed another year as chief resident in academics and research. My focus is on cellular therapy against hematologic malignancies; during residency, I initiated a phase 2 clinical trial investigating the efficacy of unique vaccine regimen in CAR-T recipients. At Stanford, I hope to further explore my interest in therapeutics development and clinical trial design in the field of bone marrow transplant and cellular immunotherapy. I am looking forward to traveling opportunities and outdoor activities with my fiance and fur baby named Cheeto.
