Tim is a Bay Area local born and raised in Oakland. He studied physics at Washington University in St. Louis where his basic science work focused on nuclear magnetic resonance of hydrogen storage compounds. He completed medical school at UCLA where his interest in NSCLC began and was thrilled to complete his medicine residency at Stanford. His research interests include clinical and translational research in thoracic malignancy. Outside of work, Tim is an avid hiker, basketball player and local sports fan.
