Nicole Dalal, MD

Nicole is originally from Fremont, California. She completed her undergraduate studies in Human Biology at Stanford University and then attended the Duke University School of Medicine. During medical school, she also conducted cancer epidemiology research at the National Cancer Institute under the guidance of Dr. Lindsay Morton, studying cause-specific mortality after hematologic malignancies. She then returned back to the west coast to complete her Internal Medicine residency at the University of California San Francisco. Throughout medical school and residency, she has developed a passion for quality improvement and physician gender equity work. She is thrilled to return to Stanford for her Hematology/Oncology fellowship and plans to focus clinically on solid tumor oncology. In addition, she hopes to pursue health services research and contribute to actionable clinical interventions to improve cancer care delivery at the Stanford Cancer Institute. In her free time, she enjoys participating in Indian cultural activities, going running or boxing, and traveling.
