Jared Wallace, MD, PhD

 

 

Originally from a small town in western Colorado, Jared attended the University of Utah where he received his undergraduate degree in Biology. He went on to complete an MD-PhD at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Under the guidance of Dr. Ryan O'Connell, he performed research focusing on the role of non-coding RNAs in immunology and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Jared then moved to the Bay Area for internal medicine residency at Stanford. During fellowship, he will continue to pursue his interest in malignant hematology and perform basic science research studying the clonal evolution of myeloid malignancies and mechanisms of leukemic transformation in AML. Jared also enjoys all things outdoors, basketball, and spending time with his family.
