Hrishi grew up in Palo Alto, CA. He completed his undergraduate studies at Williams College and his MD / Masters of Science in Clinical Research at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He completed his thesis in James Ferrara’s lab validating serum biomarkers to predict long-term outcomes in acute graft-versus-host disease. He returned to the Bay Area for internal medicine residency at Stanford. During his residency, he has studied high-dimensional cytokine profiling to understand CAR-T toxicities. Hrishi is in a career hematologic malignancies, cellular therapy and translational research. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, cooking and traveling.
