Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System
The Hematology Service at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) provides comprehensive care for veterans with hematological conditions. The VAPAHCS encompasses a large geographical territory, with satellite clinics located in San Jose, Monterey, Livermore, Stockton, and soon in Modesto. All complex care requiring hospitalization is provided at the Palo Alto Division where a new state-of-the-art medical center opened in the fall of 1997.
