For six days, our Health Matters virtual platform will be live for registered guests. Log in to listen to our Health Talks followed by live Q&As with Stanford faculty. Take on-demand cooking, fitness, and yoga classes, and delve into science-based health resources on our Health Hub.
For the health of our community, Health Matters 2021 is a completely virtual event. Once you register, you can log in to explore our interactive Health Hub, listen to Health Talks with Stanford experts, and take a cooking, yoga, or fitness class—all from the convenience of your home.
The Health Talks will play within a video player on the Health Talks page. A Q&A session with that featured speaker will follow the Health Talk. The Health Talks will be shown on-demand for the rest of the event, but we will not be recording the Q&A session.
Yes, all of the Health Talks will be recorded and will be available for on-demand viewing soon after each talk has ended. These videos will be available for you to view for the remainder of the virtual event.
The more you engage with Health Matters, the more opportunities you have to be entered into the prize drawing for an Apple Watch Series 6, Farm Fresh to You gift cards, and yearly Headspace subscriptions. You are automatically entered when you attend a Health Talk and when you post on social media using #healthmatters2021. For a bonus entry, visit the Health Hub main page to take a quick quiz about what you’ve learned exploring the Health Hub. All winners will be chosen at random and notified after Health Matters concludes.
Med School Morning, an hour-long program, will be offered at 10:00 am PT on Saturday, May 15 via Zoom webinar. When you register, you will receive an email with the webinar link included. This session is free and encouraged for current high school students.
