WELCOME MESSAGE

Our Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology offers a dedicated one-year fellowship in the study of esophageal diseases.

The goal of this fellowship is to train academic gastroenterologists who have specific expertise in the management of complex esophageal disorders. They will receive special clinical and research training focused on structural and functional esophageal disorders under world-class faculty with experts.

APPLICATION PROCESS

How to Apply

The Esophageal program is a non ACGME program and we do not participate in the National Resident Match Program. The application deadline for our program is February 15 and the interview period will be in March. All applicants are required to complete the application procedure as noted below.

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. The applicant must be in good standing in the medical community

  2. The applicant must be able to obtain a California license to practice Medicine.

  3. Applicants must have completed an accredited gastroenterology fellowship training in the U.S.
