My various roles allow me the unique opportunity to be involved in all the stages in traumatic brain injury, from acute injury in my role as a clinician and a neurosurgeon to the more chronic stages in recovery in my role in Polytrauma and with the Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center. In addition to my work in Polytrauma, my research focuses on the epidemiology of traumatic brain injury with attention to the delivery of neurosurgical services in the developing world and in underserved communities.
