Marissa Floro

Bio

Marissa Floro (she/her) is a program manager, psychologist, and instructor through Stanford University’s Weiland Health Initiative. Weiland’s aim is to provide a spectrum of services for a spectrum of experiences by centering the lives of LGBTQ+ folx in programming, clinical services, advocacy, and education. Marissa has focused her academic and clinical work on the intersections of race, gender, and attraction, creating programming for LGBTQ+ BIPOC folx. From facilitating self-care workshops to holding discussions on microaggressions to creating space for biracial, bisexual, non-binary people, Marissa hopes to continue to provide space for folx who feel in between and on the margins of the margins.
