Diversity Awards and Networking Reception

This reception will celebrate diversity, build community, and recognize leaders in diversity, equity, and inclusion at the Stanford University School of Medicine. The Office of Faculty Development and Diversity (OFDD), Office of Graduate Education (OGE), Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA), and the Office of Diversity in Medical Education (ODME) are co-sponsoring this event.
Join us to celebrate awardees, connect with community members engaged in the DEI space, and enjoy drinks and appetizers. We look forward to welcoming and celebrating community members engaged in DEI activities across Stanford Medicine. All students, trainees, staff, faculty, and other Stanford Medicine community members are welcome. We will celebrate the following awards:
- Fernando Mendoza HERO Award
- Dr. Miquell Miller Award for Promoting Diversity and Inclusion
- Dr. Audrey Shafer Award for Promoting Diversity and Inclusion
- GME Awards for Promoting Health Equity
- 2023 Postdoc JEDI Champions
- Dr. Augustus A. White III and Family Faculty Professionalism Award

The event will take place on the rooftop garden located on level 3 of the new Stanford hospital (500 Pasteur Drive). You can reach the rooftop if you enter through the main entrance of the hospital, find elevators on the left, and take the elevator to the third floor. You can also enter the pasteur staff garage and take the garage elevators to the third floor. The rooftop garden is fully accessible via elevator.
