Black Faculty Affinity Network (BFAM)
The Stanford Medicine Black Faculty Affinity Meetings (BFAM) network, created by faculty through OFDE's Community Support Initiative, provides a forum to discuss issues related to research and patient care in the Black community. BFAM is intended to provide networking and social engagement opportunities for all Stanford Medicine faculty across clinical lines and departments.
HEAL Network
In response to growing interest and expertise among faculty that are dedicated to addressing health disparities, we have launched a Health Equity Action Leadership (HEAL) Network. Based in research and scholarship, the HEAL Network will bring faculty together to determine how we can better address health inequities.
LGBTQ+ Faculty Networking
LGBTQ+ Faculty Networking activities provides a forum to learn about LGBTQ+ related research and support.
Latino Faculty Advocacy Meetings (LFAM)
The LFAM brings together physicians from a variety of professional backgrounds at Stanford to examine efforts relating to research and clinical care of the Latino patient population, while creating a support network for faculty and students engaged in these activities across Stanford Medicine.
Minority Faculty Networking
Stanford Medicine’s Minority Faculty Networking small-group luncheons are open to all Stanford Medicine faculty and offer an occasion to meet with colleagues in an intimate setting and to consider the experiences of Stanford Medicine's minority faculty.
OFDE Community Support Initiative
To build community and encourage new networks that enact a sense of belonging among faculty in academic medicine at Stanford, the Office of Faculty Development and Engagement (OFDE) seeks to help faculty establish communities and networks for support.
Stanford Medicine Alliance for Disability Inclusion and Equity
The Stanford Medicine Alliance for Disability Inclusion and Equity (SMADIE) is open to everyone at Stanford Medicine, including Stanford School of Medicine, Stanford Health Care, University HealthCare Alliance (UHA), Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, Packard Children’s Health Alliance (PCHA), and Stanford Children’s Health.
Women Faculty Networking
The Women Faculty Networking Group is open to all faculty and instructors, regardless of gender, across all lines. OFDE solicits topics and speakers of interest from all those interested in learning about and promoting the professional success of women in the field of medicine.
