The Evaluation and Assessment Team leverages data toward the optimization of student outcomes and the provision of safe and effective patient care.

The team supports the School of Medicine in developing processes and strategies to promote continuous quality improvement in student learning experiences and outcomes.

Our team evaluates, monitors, and provides analysis of grades and the grading process to ensure the fairness of medical student assessment.

We support the educational research agenda for the required curriculum and major medical school initiatives by addressing contemporary issues in medical education.

• Our team works closely with staff and faculty curriculum leaders to develop processes and strategies to support continuous quality improvement in student learning experiences and outcomes. This includes:
  
  • In-depth analysis of the required MD program curriculum
  • Quarterly and annual reporting on courses, clerkships, programs, and faculty instruction
  • Liaison Committee for Medical Education (LCME) compliance tracking for medical school accreditation
  • AAMC Graduation Questionnaire & Year 2 Questionnaire reporting
  • Evaluation of E4C teaching clinical skills and professionalism curriculum
  • Evaluation of the Scholarly Concentration program
  • Support processes to track and report student-related mistreatment issues
  • Oversight of teaching evaluations for promotion and training
