Community, Advancement, Resources, and Equity (CARE)

Overview

The Epidemiology & Population Health Department's CARE Committee was launched in September 2020, with the central goal of advancing CARE activities, programs and research at the local (department and University) and global levels. EPH students, faculty and staff of all identities and backgrounds are welcome to join the CARE committee and attend CARE-sponsored events. CARE efforts fall into three categories of action, in line with our mission and vision statements.

Vision

Fostering community, inspiring growth, and furthering population health science for all.

Mission

Members of the EPH CARE Committee work together to foster a strong community where diversity of thought and experience are valued.  Through resources, training, and development opportunities, we help students, faculty, and staff broaden their understanding of diverse perspectives, and create inclusive change, while supporting our Departmental goal of advancing population health for all.
