Opportunities

The CZ Biohub's Mass Spectrometry Platform is continually seeking talented researchers.  Successful applicants at the levels of research associate, postdoc or scientist will help develop and apply mass spectrometry technologies to one or more of the following areas:

Antigen presentation  Gut microbiome Aging
  • Cancer
  • Viral infection
  • Allergy
  • Host/microbe metaproteomics
  • Metabolomics IBD Allergy
  • Novel PTM discovery Pipeline development Machine learning'
  • Several of these projects will be jointly supervised by Dr. Joshua Elias and his field-leading collaborators at the Chan Zuckerberg. Biohub, Stanford, UC Berkeley, and UCSF.

    Strong writing ability is just as essential as bench and/or analytical competency for these projects. We will therefore be focusing our interviews on applicants with notable publication records as well as expertise in one or more of the following general areas: analytical chemistry; cancer biology; computational biology; immunology; mass spectrometry; metabolomics; microbiology; proteomics.
