Erika Fry

Erika Fry is a senior writer at Fortune, where she writes features and investigative pieces on healthcare and international business. She has won numerous awards for her work, including most recently her story about the nation's chronic drug shortages and the role of America's largest pharmaceutical company plays in them. Before joining Fortune in 2012, Erika worked as a writer and associate editor at Columbia Journalism Review and from 2006-2010 as an investigative reporter with the Bangkok Post. Prior to her life as a journalist, Fry taught high school English in the Marshall Islands and worked as a defense contractor in DC. A native of Cedar Rapids Iowa, Erika graduated from Dartmouth College and received an MA in political journalism from Columbia Journalism School.
