A Small Team Dreaming Big:
How We Are Creating Bladder Basics,
an Interactive Educational Cartoon for Kids
A microsite to accompany Stanford EdTech's Bladder Basics presentation
Hello and thank you for your interest in Bladder Basics! On this page you’ll find our time-tested collection of eLearning production templates, which you can use to enhance your own projects. These templates have been thoughtfully designed by Stanford EdTech to streamline your content creation process and provide a strong foundation for your eLearning endeavors. In addition, we’d like to invite you to stay up-to-date on the public launch of the Bladder Basics course this winter.
Introducing Bladder Basics, a captivating animated course on bladder health for kids aged 5-10! Join Dr. Kan, Bladdimir the talking bladder, and their friends in this interactive play in which learners will laugh, sing, and learn what a bladder is, what makes a bladder unhappy, what makes a bladder happy, and how to create and start a bladder health journey. Additional resources are available for parents and caregivers.
This hour-long course is in the final stages of development by Kan Lab and Stanford Medicine's Educational Technology team (Stanford EdTech). Kan Lab, a pediatric urology clinic at Stanford Children's Hospital led by Dr. Kathleen Kan, evolved its popular Zoom-based Bladder Bootcamp to reach more kids with this immersive learning experience. Supported by the San Jose Auxiliary for Children and Stanford EdTech, Bladder Basics is an enjoyable and educational adventure for kids and families.
