Welcome to Facial Plastic Surgery, a Division of the Department of Otolaryngology — Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford Medicine. Our clinic has a long history of providing state-of-the-art services to patients in the San Francisco Bay Area, the entire West Coast, and beyond.

Our mission is to provide patients with a full range of state-of-the-art facial aesthetic services in a comfortable, safe environment.

Services

We offer a full range of aesthetic treatments such as BOTOX®, Restylane®, Radiesse®, and other minimally-invasive procedures. We also perform surgical procedures such as facelift, browlift, blepharoplasty, and rhinoplasty.

Meet your Care Team

Sam P. Most, MD, FACS

Dr. Sam P. Most

Dr. Sam Most is Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He is a double-board certified surgeon who specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face and neck. His training includes facial cosmetic surgery, complex reconstruction after head & neck cancer resection, as well as craniofacial trauma reconstruction. Dr. Most's specialization allows him to concentrate on delivering the most up-to-date techniques to his patients.

 His areas of expertise include:

  • Rhinoplasty
  • Revision rhinoplasty
  • Facelift surgery
  • Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery)
  • Browlift surgery
  • Reconstruction after removal of skin cancer (Mohs repair)
     

Dr. Most completed his undergraduate studies at the Honors College of the University of Michigan, graduating with High Honors in Biology. He then attended Stanford University School of Medicine, where he graduated with his M.D. and the Deans Award in 1995.  During his time at Stanford, he was awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI). After Stanford, he completed both his residency and fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle. There he became Chief of the Division of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 2002, as well as Medical Director of Cosmetic Surgery, before being recruited to Stanford in 2006.
