The postdoc-graduate student mentoring program seeks to provide more professional guidance to graduate students from minoritized backgrounds, who often struggle to find relatable role models at the faculty level. Postdocs often seek opportunities to mentor, and intimately understand the current academic climate. This program brings together postdocs and students at monthly themed lunches with group discussions. Through this format, we aim to educate attendees and to build a robust community of mentors and mentees.
