The Stanford Medicine Abilities Coalition (SMAC) fosters and advocates for the equal treatment and well-being of all students, trainees, faculty and staff at Stanford Medicine, regardless of their physical or cognitive differences. SMAC promotes collaboration between people who are passionate about disability at Stanford Medicine, and advocates for accessibility, resources and disability services, above and beyond that required by law. Ultimately, SMAC's goal is for disability advocacy to be a priority when striving to improve human diversity and equality.
