Noelle Hanako Ebel, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor, Pediatrics

Bio

Dr. Noelle Ebel is a pediatric transplant hepatologist and clinical assistant professor at Stanford. She is the Director of the Alagille Syndrome program, associate program director for the Transplant Hepatology fellowship and the creator of the pediatric gastroenterology advocacy group. Her research interests center on disparities in pediatric liver transplant and she is the site principal investigator for a multi-center study examining social determinants of health and outcomes after liver transplantation. Her advocacy work through the international Society of Pediatric Liver Transplantation (SPLIT) led to a central change in the mission of SPLIT: to address racism and bias as a barrier to equitable access to listing, timely transplantation and post-transplant outcomes for all children requiring liver transplant.
