Our Mission
To provide quality patient care and excellent medical research in genetic skin diseases that will lead to greater knowledge and further developments of new therapies.
Welcome to the Genetic Skin Disease Center (GSDC), a collaboration between Stanford's Department of Dermatology and the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital (LPCH).
In addition to LPCH's general pediatric dermatology clinics, we offer specialty pediatric dermatology clinics. Our experienced pediatric dermatologists work closely with pediatric specialists from other fields to provide patients with the most comprehensive, interdisciplinary care for the evaluation and treatment of rare and chronic dermatologic conditions.

- Epidermolysis Bullosa Clinic - The goal of the EB Clinic is to provide care for children with epidermolysis bullosa. The EB Clinic team consists of pediatric dermatologists, pain specialists, occupational and physical therapists, and other pediatric specialists experienced in EB care.
- Vascular Malformations Clinic - The Vascular Malformations Clinic provides a multidisciplinary approach to the care of children with vascular tumors and malformations. The Vascular Malformations Clinic team consists of pediatric dermatologists, radiologists, surgeons, plastic surgeons, and otolaryngologists.
- Genetic Skin Diseases Clinic - The Genetic Skin Diseases Clinic offers interdisciplinary consultative services for children with uncommon genetic skin disorders and children with probable genetic disorders in whom skin changes may be a clue to diagnosis. The Genetic Skin Diseases Clinic team is staffed by pediatric dermatologists, geneticists, and genetic counselors.
