Learning Portfolio

Over the next month, you will work in multiple settings with a variety of patients, faculty, and other teachers. This experience is designed to give you a comprehensive exposure to Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.

To facilitate your learning during this multifaceted experience and to assist us in documenting your competency in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, we ask that you submit a snapshot of your work during the rotation – a Learning Portfolio.

Compile individual learning portfolios and submit electronically to the rotation director, Dr. Huffman (as an email note, with .pdf or .doc attachments). There is a printer in the DBP office area (1st floor, MSOB, 1265 Welch Road, Room X175), which can be used to create a scanned pdf document, if you need it - check with Laura von Kampen in the DBP office area. Do not upload the learning portfolio onto MedHub.

Please send your portfolio two days before your End-of-Evaluation meeting, so that faculty have a chance to review it before your end-of-rotation meeting with Dr. Huffman.

Learning portfolio components are listed below. Forms are available on the DBP training website. Completion of the rotation is contingent on receipt of all portfolio items.
