Research
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is one of the largest academic and clinical units within the Department of Medicine at Stanford, and is consistently ranked among the top ten clinical cardiology programs in the nation. The Stanford Cardiovascular Medicine Division is highly regarded in the medical community for its long track record of training faculty members with a strong commitment to basic, clinical, and translational research. Many of the senior faculty members of the division are nationally and internationally renowned experts in their fields and provide mentorship and career guidance to junior faculty. The division currently has approximately 70 full-time faculty members, including clinical and basic scientists.
