Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies
Cardiovascular Research Award

The Stanford Cardiovascular Institute is proud to pair with Stanford Medicine’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program to fund the research of physician assistants. Up to two awards of $1,250 each, or one award of $2,500, will be awarded to encourage Physician Assistants' research in improving cardiovascular health and patient care. Awards fund opportunities for exceptional researchers to: present their work at conferences, publish manuscripts, purchase needed lab supplies, and other approved expenses related to promoting a future career in cardiovascular medicine.

Application deadline: May 15th, 2024

Application Information

Applicants must submit a one-page proposal and their CV/resume through the application portal by the application deadline of May 15th, 2024.

One-page proposals must include the following information:

  • Name
  • MSPA Year
  • Project Title
  • Brief Description of Project (100 words or less)
  • Name of MSPA Project Mentor, along with other Stanford cardiology faculty if applicable
  • Email Address and Phone Number
  • Plan for Fund Utilization (e.g. attendance at a national cardiology conference, statistical support, equipment or technology purchase)
