Stanford Cardiovascular Institute Recognition Award

for Research Staff and Early Career Scientists

This annual Stanford Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) Recognition Award recognizes CVI-affiliated research staff  and early career scientists who continuously strive to improve the Institute’s culture and community. CVI members who are research staff (life science research professionals or research scientists) or early career scientists (students, postdocs, residents, instructors, or fellows) are eligible for this award. Self-nominations are allowed.

With this award, CVI recognizes CVI members whose efforts increase or celebrate the diversity of our community, contribute to fair and just practices that ensure CVI members thrive, and/or promote an environment of mutual respect, belonging, and inclusion at CVI.

CVI will issue two awards of $1,500 each to CVI-affiliated early career researchers or research staff who have made exceptional contributions to our community. Note that due to policy restrictions, some job classifications may only receive awards as research supply funding or travel support, with PI approval.
