Stanford Bio-X Faculty Mentors

Bio-X advances discovery by bringing together experts from diverse disciplines to solve complex challenges in biology and medicine. Through interdisciplinary collaboration across engineering, computer science, physical sciences, and the life sciences, Bio-X accelerates innovation, generates new knowledge, and develops solutions that improve human health.

Bio-X supports collaborative research, integrated education, and the training of future leaders, fostering an environment where groundbreaking ideas emerge at the intersection of science, technology, and medicine. Several Stanford Cardiothoracic Surgery faculty members have served as Bio-X mentors, helping guide interdisciplinary research teams, support emerging investigators, and advance innovative approaches to cardiovascular and thoracic disease. Through these mentorship roles, our faculty contribute to Bio-X’s mission of fostering collaboration and developing the next generation of scientific and clinical leaders.
