Fellows Match Day 2025:
General Thoracic Surgery Fellowship Match Announced

The Stanford Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery has matched Lye Yeng Wong, MD, from Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) to the General Thoracic Surgery Track of its Traditional Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship Program. The match results were announced on April 30, 2025.

Dr. Wong earned her medical degree from Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in 2019. She went on to complete general surgery residency at OHSU, where she also spent part of her training in 2024 in Stanford’s Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery through the Stanford Thoracic Surgery Clinical Research Program.

She will begin her fellowship at Stanford in August 2026.
