Faculty members from the Stanford Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery presented at the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS) 2025 Mechanical Support and Thoracic Transplantation Summit, held September 5–6, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts. The two-day, state-of-the-art summit focused on contemporary and novel mechanical oxygenation and circulatory support devices — technologies that support the heart and lungs, both inside and outside the body.
