Department welcomes four new clinical faculty

The Stanford Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery is excited to welcome four clinical faculty to the department. Please join us in welcoming Drs. Irmina Elliott, Brandon Guenthart, and Yihan Lin, who will join as Clinical Assistant Professors, and Dr. Pierre Theodore as Clinical Associate Professor.
Dr. Elliott completed her General Surgery Residency at the University of California, Los Angeles and recently a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship in Thoracic at Stanford.
Dr. Guenthart specializes in heart and lung transplantation and completed his General Surgery Residency at New York-Presbyterian Cornell Medical Center before continuing to a Transplant Clinical Instructor Fellowship at Stanford.
Dr. Lin completed her residency in General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship at the University of Colorado and is a former Harvard Medical School Paul Farmer Global Surgery Research Fellow.
Dr. Theodore is a thoracic surgeon and has been the Vice President of Global Public Health at Johnson & Johnson since 2017 and an Adjunct Professor at Stanford for the past two years.
