How to Apply

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age on the first day of the program. The only exception we make for students below 16 years of age is if they are a junior in high school.

Summer 2025 Program Format

For Summer 2025, we're excited to return to a virtual format. This will allow us to provide a broader opportunity for students from diverse locations to participate in our program.

Program Schedule

Lectures: 9 AM - 12 PM Pacific Time, Monday - Friday

Skills Training: 1 PM - 4 PM Pacific Time, Monday - Friday

Tutorials and Office Hours: Additional time is allocated for these sessions.

Internship Commitment

Interns are expected to attend all scheduled sessions.

Application fee: $95 USD (non-refundable)

For Summer 2025, the programs will be held using a virtual format (online). The program fee is $4,500 USD, which includes all necessary educational supplies.

The application window is currently closed for the 2025 programs. Please check back in January 2026 for the next opportunity to apply.

Application requirements to be completed online:

1) General information (Application window is currently closed, it will open on January 13, 2025, at 9am EST)

2) Resume/CV (pdf format, uploaded within the online application)

3) Official copy of transcript from your most recent high school (pdf format, uploaded within the online application)

4) Official results of PSAT, SAT, or ACT scores (if available, not required) (pdf format, uploaded within the online application)

5) Short Essay (pdf format, uploaded within the online application): We strongly encourage you to share unique and/or challenging factors in your background, such as the quality of your early educational environment or life or work experiences. Please discuss how such factors have influenced your goals and preparation for a career in medicine. Please limit to 500 words.

6) A minimum of two letters of recommendation (pdf format).
(There are no restrictions as to who can provide a recommendation letter as long as the referee can speak to why the applicant is appropriate for the program. Full instructions on how to submit letters of recommendation are within the online application.)

7) Application fee of $95 (non-refundable). This is payable through the Eventbrite link within the online application.
