Undergraduate Summer Research Opportunity

Program Information

The Stanford Center for Sleep and Circadian Sciences (CSCS) is dedicated to furthering innovation and discovery in interdisciplinary research on sleep and circadian rhythms. Members are researchers from many departments across multiple schools at Stanford University. The Center encompasses a comprehensive range of approaches, from molecules to behavior, from circuits to clinical trials, and from genes to technology, as well as expertise in the study of social economic, racial, gender, and other social determinants of sleep health. To support this mission, we are offering a summer residency in one of our member laboratories. In summer 2023, CSCS plans to offer a single award with a stipend of $7500 for a 10-week period of full-time research during the summer quarter. Students are expected to engage in the life of their host laboratory during the summer quarter and there may be an opportunity to continue research after the summer (at the discretion of the host laboratory). Full-time Stanford University undergraduates in good standing with the University are eligible to apply.

Completed applications, including email confirmation from your mentor, are due by 5pm PST on January 28, 2023. Announcements on the recipient will be made by February 25th, 2023.
