The mission of the Pediatric Coaching and Mentoring Program is to foster the professional development, academic enrichment and overall life fulfillment for early-career pediatric faculty. We designed the PCAMP program to provide early-career faculty with a “life coach”, augmenting mentorship you may receive from your division chief, research mentor and colleagues.

All PCAMP Mentors strive to help you achieve satisfaction and success in your career. We welcome you to explore the Mentor page to learn about the pediatric faculty members who are excited to support you and your career development.

In the PCAMP program, your mentor must be part of a different Division, and we expect that you will meet with your mentor at least twice a year.  Many mentors meet with their mentees several times throughout the year. 

In addition to your mentor, PCAMP offers workshops throughout the year on a variety of topics that pertain to the satisfaction and success of your career.  You are encouraged to take advantage of these sessions.  We recorded some past sessions, and you are welcome to browse and watch these at your leisure in the Workshop page. We also created a series of video shorts called “What is your spark?”. In these videos, faculty share the spark that ignited them towards their meaningful work. We invite you to scroll down this website page and watch these 2-minute videos to gain inspiration for your work and to learn about your colleagues.
