These videos showcase select 2025 capstone projects from participant teams in our SASI Foundations program. Over two weeks, each team collaborated with a real patient to bring their health journey to life through original animated storytelling. Guided by SASI faculty, students also designed prototype solutions addressing challenges raised by the patient’s lived experience.

Stanford's Land Acknowledgement
Native students Jade Araujo, ’24, and Ryan Duncan, ’24, deliver Stanford’s land acknowledgment.
Stanford University’s campus is located within the traditional territory of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe, on land Leland Stanford purchased in the 1870s and 1880s.
"Stanford sits on the ancestral land of the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe. This land was and continues to be of great importance to the Ohlone people. Consistent with our values of community and inclusion, we have a responsibility to acknowledge, honor, and make visible the University’s relationship to Native peoples."
This acknowledgment has been developed in collaboration with the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe.
