Samuel Baker, DVM, Diplomate ACLAM, Assistant Professor. Dr. Baker received his BA and veterinary
degree from the University of Cambridge, UK. Upon graduation he moved to
the United States and completed his residency in laboratory animal
medicine at Columbia University in 2014. He moved to Stanford in 2016 to
join the Veterinary Service Center as the lead clinical veterinarian
for the large animal anesthetic and surgical services. His interests are
refining the peri-operative care and promoting welfare for agricultural
and nonhuman primate species.
