About the Course Director:
Christopher D. Gardner, Ph.D. is the Rehnborg Farquhar Professor of Medicine at Stanford University and the Director of Nutrition Studies at the Stanford University Prevention Research Center. He received his Ph.D. in Nutritunal Sciences at the University of California, Berkeley, in 1993. His postgraduate training included a postdoctoral fellowship in cardiovascular disease epidemiology at Stanford.

Nutrition is an integral part of each person's health, but selecting healthful food is not as simple as it appears in a world that offers many fast and inexpensive choices.
