Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Employ best practices, including referral if necessary, for the diagnosis and management of pediatric and adolescent patients presenting with the following: 
    • Rashes
    • Incontinence
    • Wheezing
    • Epilepsy
  • Evaluate shoulder pain in the growing athlete and determine appropriate treatment or referral strategies
  • Screen, counsel, manage or refer the child or adolescent presenting with anxiety
  • Counsel patients and families on the use of continuous glucose monitoring in type 1 diabetes
