North Pacific Child Neurology Colloquium 2016

Learning Objectives

  • Appropriately evaluate afflicted patients and determine when to refer patients to an eye specialist when there are concerns of Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF‐1), pseudotumor, and Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO)
  • Describe the mechanism of treatment of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) and Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and appropriately triage these patients to centers where clinical trials are available
  • Recognize when a child with multisystem disease including neurologic disease requires genome, metabolome, or immunome screening
